The State @ Tuesday October 20, 2015

This week USPTO granted 109 utility, design, and plant patents to Minnesota-based inventors. This is the work of 275 named inventors from 99 State municipalities. These numbers are based on the Way Better Count method of tracking patents and inventors.

As of October 20, 2015, the year to date Way Better Count of all patents granted to Minnesota-based inventors or companies shows 2438 patents granted to Minnesota inventors and 90 patents identified titleholders (assignees) who worked with inventors from the State. Of the entities granted patents, 48 identified their location as being in Minnesota.
