This week USPTO granted 81 utility, design, and plant patents to Colorado-based inventors. This is the work of 163 named inventors from 44 State municipalities. These numbers are based on the Way Better Count method of tracking patents and inventors.

As of October 20, 2015, the year to date Way Better Count of all patents granted to Colorado-based inventors or companies shows 1852 patents granted to Colorado inventors and 75 patents identified titleholders (assignees) who worked with inventors from the State. Of the entities granted patents, 26 identified their location as being in Colorado.
