This week USPTO granted 62 utility, design, and plant patents to Arizona-based inventors. This is the work of 126 named inventors from 18 State municipalities. These numbers are based on the Way Better Count method of tracking patents and inventors.

As of October 20, 2015, the year to date Way Better Count of all patents granted to Arizona-based inventors or companies shows 1420 patents granted to Arizona inventors and 54 patents identified titleholders (assignees) who worked with inventors from the State. Of the entities granted patents, 13 identified their location as being in Arizona.
